Andy, married to Wendy with two children, is passionate about music and he enjoys leading our worship team and services on a Sunday. He also loves living close to the fells, sports and politics.

Working for a local council, managing services that provide better housing and supporting people at risk of homelessness, Andy's favourite bible verse is Isaiah 55 v.1 : "Come all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come buy and eat! Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost,” because he feels it speaks of God’s grace and that we can rely on him for what really matters in life when we’re at the end of ourselves.

Steve Kelsall

A passionate family man and full-time farmer, Steve is married to Alison and they have 2 children. A real encourager to young and old, Steve is responsible for prayer in the church and he's also an area pastor.

Steve's favourite bible verse is from Romans 8 v 38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

His sense of humour usually puts a smile on your face and his favourite joke is this: A man is driving down the road, when he passes a farmer standing in the middle of a huge field. He pulls the car over and watches the farmer doing absolutely nothing. The man walks over to the farmer and asks him, “Excuse me sir, but what are you doing?” The farmer replies, “I’m trying to win a Nobel Prize.” “How?” Asks the man puzzled. “Well I heard they give the prize to people who are outstanding in their field.”
