Mark lives in Preston with wife Fiona and three girls. He manages a business portfolio for a multinational safety company and enjoys spending time with his family, playing fold and metal detecting.
One of his favourite verses is Matthew 19 v14: 'Jesus said: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
In his 70s, Dennis is a retired prison teacher and is married to Linda. His favourite bible verse is Psalm 100, a psalm of thanksgiving. In his spare time Dennis is a keen fly fisher and also enjoys swimming and walking.
Dennis is a great encourager and is looking after the 16 ministries that run throughout the week.
Married to Anne for over 30 years with 3 children, Neil is an engineer and project manager for BAE Systems.
Neil's favourite bible verse is 'Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and mind your minds in Christ Jesus.' Phil 4 v6-7.
Neil's passion as a deacon is to make sure that people of all ages know week-by-week that hope is only founded in Jesus and His Word.
He loves to ride his bike in his spare time and explore the beautiful scenery which surrounds us.
Stephen, married to Helen and together they have 3 almost grown up children. Stephen is a farmer in the local area and has always attended Inglewhite Church.
Stephen's favourite bible verse is Jeremiah 33:3, "call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." He has always found this to be true in his life. His vision as a deacon is to see the church grow.
Married to Dave with two children, Lisa is a primary school teaching assistant. Her favourite bible verse, also used at her baptism when Lisa was 17, is Romans 8 v28 "all things work together for good for those that are called according to His purpose."
Helen is passionate about making the local church relevant in a constantly changing world and she is responsible for overseeing communications.
Her favourite bible verse: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3 v5-6.
Married to John, and mum to Isaac, she works in Marketing and is a part of the worship group.
Mandy is a an active member of the leadership team and believes that everyone who attends our church should have the opportunity to be included in church life and activities.
She is currently working as an Occupational Therapist and lives in Catterall with her beloved Springer Spaniel “Oscar”.
Mandy's favourite bible verse is Isaiah 41:13:
"For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you. Do not fear; I will help you."
In her spare time Mandy does a lot of creative activities such as working with glass, wood, textiles and wool.
